Adam Daum

Adam Daum took on the role of head athletic trainer in 2016-17, after previously serving as assistant athletic trainer for the Skyhawks during the 2015-16 academic year.

 

Prior to joining Point, Daum spent two years as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the University of West Alabama. Daum obtained a Master’s of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in physical education from West Alabama in May 2015.

 

In 2013, Daum received a Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training from Valdosta State University.  From the spring of 2011 through the summer of 2012 he assisted the athletic training staff at Valdosta State with various tasks.  In the fall of 2012 he provided athletic training coverage for the football team at Lowndes High School while in the spring of 2013 he completed an internship with the Emory University Sports Medicine Department.

 

Daum is a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer as well as a Georgia and Alabama State Licensed Athletic Trainer. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association and the Alabama Athletic Trainers’ Association.  In addition, Daum is a certified American Red Cross CPR and AED Professional Rescuer.
