Trey Hollar

Trey Hollar was hired by Point University as an assistant athletic trainer in June, 2017, and will primarily work with the Skyhawk football and baseball teams.  Hollar comes to Point University from the University of Montevallo, where he served as an assistant trainer for men’s soccer and baseball.

 

A native of Forsyth, Georgia, Hollar graduated from Valdosta State University in May, 2013, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training.  During his time at VSU, he worked with every sport except women’s soccer.

 

Hollar then continued his education at Northwestern State, graduating and earning a Master of Science in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Sport Administration in May, 2015.  While at Northwestern State, he worked primarily with the football, women’s tennis, and men’s basketball programs.

 

Hollar is a member of the National Athletic Trainer’s Association, is an Alabama and Georgia state licensed Board-Certified Athletic Trainer, and is BLS-CPR certified.

 

Trey’s wife Kristen also works for Point University in the business office, and the two have been happily married since December, 2015.
