Kelly Jahn

Kelly Jahn was hired as the assistant athletic trainer for Point University in October, 2016.  Originally from Buffalo, New York, Jahn graduated from Alfred University in May of 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and a minor in Exercise Science.  While at Alfred, she gained experience with NCAA Division III athletics including football, women’s soccer, swim and dive, and women’s lacrosse.  She served internships at local physical therapy clinics, SUNY-Geneseo with ice hockey, and SUNY-Alfred State with men’s lacrosse, baseball, and track and field.

 

After completing her undergraduate degree, Jahn continued her education at Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama, and graduated with a Master of Education in Physical Activity and Health in May, 2015.  While in graduate school at Auburn University, Jahn spent her two years as a graduate-assistant athletic trainer working through East Alabama Medical Center and also worked as an outreach athletic trainer in a few local high schools, specifically Loachapoka and Notasulga High School.

 

After completing her Masters, Jahn worked at Gwinnett Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia, in a high school setting. While employed at Gwinnett Medical Center, she worked at Meadowcreek and Brookwood High School.

 

Jahn is currently a member of Church of the Highlands – Opelika and has a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Tucker that is sometimes seen around campus.
