PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. - Johnathan Hall, a senior at McIntosh High School, will be running for the Skyhawks this fall.

Hall, whose team won the State regional, ran 17:47 at the region meet in 2013 and 4:49 in the mile will be counted on to score for the Skyhawks immediately.

"We are very excited to have Johnathan on our campus. He is a very talented student-athlete who will be an instant leader on our team in terms of how to do things in our sport and in the classroom," Coach Michael Caldwell said. "Johnathan ran at one of the better programs in the state, and we are counting on his experiences at McIntosh to carry over to our men's team."

McIntosh coach Jason Newton thinks Point is gaining a valuable member to its squad.

"Johnathan had a very successful cross country and track & field career at McIntosh," Newton said. "He has an amazing race range from the 400 meter dash all the way up the 5000m. Johnathan was the member of the schools only team State Track & Field Championship in 2013, and he was a member of the 4x400 relay team that set a new school record this season with a time of 3:24. He has has a vast amount of growth potential."
