Head cheerleading coach, Rebecca Logan's hard work is paying off as she signed four new members- Amy O'Neill, Katie Carroll, Deja Richards, and Lauren Swanson- to her squad today.  "I feel so blessed to be able to work with this group of girls this year.  They each bring a unique set of strengths to the team, and they all work together very well.  We are all excited about cheering on our Skyhawks this season" said Logan.

Amy O'Neill

Amy O'Neill, a native of Woodstock, GA, graduated from North Cobb Christian School where she received her varsity letter.  She was recognized as a competition cheerleader, received the coaches' award and also earned the tumbling award.


Katie Carroll

Katie Carroll is a transfer student from Gordon State College.  Originally from Pike County, GA, Carroll lettered all four years as a varsity football and competition cheerleader in high school. Besides cheering Carroll participated in gymnastics and was a cheer coach.


Deja Richards is a recent graduate of North Paulding High School in Dallas, GA.In high school, Richards received the Vincent J. Dooley Award, Deja Richardsthe Leadership Award and was also named an All-American Cheerleader. 


Lauren Swanson

Lauren Swanson is coming to Point University after graduating from Baconton Community Charter School. Swanson was also a member of the 2012 region champs cross country team.  She was also voted by her senior class as most school spirited.
