The Point women's soccer team was shutout on the road by Reinhardt University, 6-0.

WALESKA, Ga.  The Reinhardt University Eagles (3-5-2; 2-1-1 AAC) used two first-half goals and four second-half goals and allowed no goals to shutout the visiting Point University Skyhawks (4-5-0; 2-1-0 AAC), 6-0 in Wednesday, September 27 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) women's soccer action at University Stadium in Waleska, Ga.  


Reinhardt scored its first goal 28:47 into the first half and would add one more goal in the opening half to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.  The Eagles added four more unanswered goals in the second half and held Point scoreless during the match to grab a shutout victory over the Skyhawks, 6-0.


The Skyhawks got off nine shots, four on goal and had one corner kick, and the Eagles totaled 21 shots, 14 on goal with four corner kicks.


Point junior goalkeeper Rachel Ash (Douglasville, GA) started and played the entire match for the Skyhawks, allowing six goals while making eight saves, and Reinhardt goalkeeper Nina Haeberlin started and played the entire match for the Eagles and allowed no goals and made four saves.
