BREVARD, N.C. -- Point University (3-0-1) outshot Brevard College (0-1),  17-12 in the match, enroute to a 3-0 victory in Saturday, Sept. 2 non-conference intercollegiate men's soccer action in Brevard, N.C.


Freshman forward Juan Gomez (Malaga, Spain) opened the scoring for the Skyhawks with a goal at 17:47, assisted by freshman midfielder Koen Vos (Budel, Netherlands).  Senior forward Juan Domingo (Alto, GA) scored two goals, the first coming at 29:58 assisted by senior wing Jonatan Chavez (Santa Cruz, Bolivia), and the second coming at 67:20 I the second half, assisted by Gomez.


Junior goalkeeper Ned Avies (Rochester, NY) saved all four of Brevard's four shots on goal. 


NEXT MATCHE:  Coached by Jonathan Lenarz, the Skyhawks next travel to Oakwood College (Ala.) in Huntsville, Ala. for a non-conference match Thursday, Sept. 7 at 4 p.m. ET.
