WEST POINT, Ga. – Point University women's basketball coach Tory Wooley has added 5-5 point guard Tatiana Love from Briarcrest Christian High School and Southwest Tennessee Community College to his 2017-18 squad.

"We are extremely pleased to add Tatiana Love," commented Coach Wooley.  "She is our final signee and rounds out a talented incoming class.  Tatiana will give us depth at the point guard position and she is a true "pass first" point guard who thrives off getting her teammates involved and facilitating the offense.  One of her greatest strengths is her positive and infectious upbeat approach that we are looking for in a point guard.  She is a quick learner and a tremendous ball handler and should be able to come in and immediately compete at the point guard position.  Coach Denson and I feel we have what it takes to do something special both on and off the court as each of the young ladies of this class grow in their faith in the Lord, while making a lasting difference within the Point University community."

Love graduated from Briarcrest Christian High School in 2015 and played her last two seasons at Southwest Tennessee Community College in Memphis, Tenn.  Love comes to Point with the support of family members Sonya, Gerry, and Kerry Love, and she attends Greater Imani Church.

Love explained why she chose Point University, "I have chosen Point University because the atmosphere is so welcoming.  Attending Point will help me define myself spiritually which will help me to become a stronger individual."
