WEST POINT, Ga. – Coached by Zachery Tyler, Point University runner Maegan Garritson (SR/Fullerton, Calif.) has been selected as an individual to compete in the marathon at the 2017 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Outdoor Track and Field National Championships at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium in Gulf Shores, Ala., Saturday, May 27 at 6 a.m.

    

A May, 2017 Point University graduate, Garritson most recently earned three points for the Skyhawks' women's team with a sixth-place finish out of 13 runners in the 10,000-meter run with a season-best time of 41:57.18 at the Appalachian Athletic Conference Championships, April 21-22, 2017.
