MONTREAT, N.C. – Point University (5-5; 3-1 AAC) defeated Montreat College (2-9; 0-2 AAC), 13-6, in Saturday, March 25 Appalachian Athletic Conference intercollegiate men's lacrosse action in Montreat, N.C.  


Point and Montreat were tied 2-2 after one quarter of play, but the Skyhawks outscored the Cavaliers 3-1 in the second quarter and 8-3 during the second half on their way to securing a seven-goal win over Montreat, 13-6.

Starting goalie Harry Dismukes (FR/Spanish Fort, AL) allowed six goals and saved seven opponent shots, and Montreat starting goalie Dakota Henson allowed 13 goals and made 16 saves.

Point midfielder Greg Wilson (SR/Augusta, GA) led the Skyhawks with five goals on 10 shots and also collected 13 ground balls.  Midfielder William Collazo-Brown (JR/Baltimore, MD) finished the contest with three goals, two assists, seven ground balls, and was 4-for-7 on face-offs.  Attacker Chase Parker (FR/Lawrenceville, GA) threw in two goals, adding one assist, and attacker Najarri Whitehead (SR/Decatur, GA) also added two goals and chipped in with two assists and four ground balls.
