LAURINBURG, N.C. – Point University (4-5; 2-1 AAC) defeated St. Andrews University (2-4; 1-2 AAC), 13-8, in Thursday, March 23 Appalachian Athletic Conference intercollegiate men's lacrosse action in Laurinburg, N.C.  


Point was held without a goal during the first quarter of action and trailed 4-3 at halftime, but the Skyhawks rallied in the second half, outscoring the Knights 10-4 enroute to their second conference win of the season, 13-8.

Starting goalie Harry Dismukes (FR/Spanish Fort, AL) allowed eight goals and saved nine opponent shots, and SAU starting goalie Nick Levar allowed 13 goals and made 12 saves.

Point attacker Chase Parker (FR/Lawrenceville, GA) led all scorers in the game with six goals and also chipped in two assists and caused one turnover.  Midfielder Greg Wilson (SR/Augusta, GA) contributed four goals on 11 shots and added three ground balls, and attacker Najarri Whitehead (SR/Decatur, GA) threw in two goals on four shots and collected two ground balls.  Midfielder William Collazo-Brown (JR/Baltimore, MD) finished the contest with one goal, one assist, three ground balls, and was 3-for-10 on face-offs.

SAU's Matt Theobald and Nick Foster tied with a team-high three goals, and Vinny D'Abbraccio and Jason Lattof each added one goal.
