NAIA Women's Golfer of the Week Courtney Lowery

WEST POINT, Ga. – Courtney Lowery (JR/Greenville, GA) from Point University has been named the NAIA National Women's Golfer of the Week for the week of March 22-30, 2017. 


Lowery won the individual championship at the Point University Skyhawk Golf Invitational, March 13-14, at the Callaway Gardens Golf Course in Pine Mountain, Ga., and she tied for second place in the Tennessee Wesleyan Bojangles Spring Invitational, March 20-21, at the Tennessee National Golf Course in Loudon, Tenn.


Lowery won medalist honors in the Skyhawk Women's Golf Invitational with a tournament-best round of 70 for the first day and a 75 for the second day and totaled a one-over par 145 for 36 holes, and she shot a 76 on the first day, and a 74 on the second day of the Tennessee Wesleyan Bojangles Invitational to earn a tie for second place.
