WEST POINT, Ga. – Point University (2-25; 1-17 AAC) lost an 84-60 decision to Milligan College (12-15; 8-11 AAC) in Saturday, Feb. 11 Appalachian Athletics Conference men's basketball action.  Point senior forward Andre Cinicola (SR/Hampton, GA) and guard C.J. Wilcox (SR/Mobile, AL) were honored midcourt during Senior Day in between the men's and women's basketball games prior to playing the final home games of their collegiate careers,. 

 

Wilcox led the Skyhawks with 13 points in his final game at home, and also had three assists and two rebounds.  Forward Chukwu Ikejiani (JR/Auburn, AL) chipped in with 11 points, six boards and one steal.  Cinicola dominated the boards with 22 rebounds and threw in eight points, two blocks, and two steals.

 

Milligan was led in scoring by forward Jacob Cawood who finished the contest with 22 points, and forward Will Bucker secured a double-double for the Buffaloes with sixteen rebounds and fifteen points.

 

Point made 23-of-72 field goals in the game (.319), 10-of-26 three-pointers (.385) and 4-of-7 free throws (.571) and committed 12 turnovers and stole the ball from the Buffaloes four times.  Milligan made 33-of-70 shots (.471), 8-of-29 three-pointers (.276), 10-of-15 free throws (.667), were out-rebounded by the Skyhawks, 48-44, committed nine turnovers and stole the ball five times.
