WEST POINT, Ga. - A trio of Pike County High School graduates has signed with the Point University cheerleading team, head coach Lara Beth Griffin announced. Savannah Straight, Logan Salter and Page Carter will all cheer for the Skyhawks. 


Savannah Straight

High School: Pike County

Hometown: Griffin, Ga. 

"I'm so excited to have Savannah as a part of this team," said Griffin. "She is a very sweet and talented girl, and will be a great addition to Point University."


Logan Salter

High School: Pike County

Hometown: Pike County, Ga. 

"I am very excited to be able to continue cheering in college, especially at Point," said Salter of her decision to sign with the Skyhawks. 


Page Carter

High School: Pike County

Hometown: Zebulon, Ga. 

Carter was a scholar athlete at Pike County all four years of high school and was cheer captain her senior year. She was nominated for Georgia Cheerleader of the Year in 2015. 

"I'm so excited that Page has chosen to continue her cheer career with Point University," said Griffin. "She is unbelievably talented and a joy to be around."
