WEST POINT, Ga. -- For the second time this season, Point University freshman Becky Guadiana has captured Appalachian Athletic Conference Runner of the Week honors.

Guadiana, from Oak View, Calif., ran a time of 18:41 and finished No. 1 overal in last weekend's Point Invitational, which helped her grasp this week's Runner of the Week honors. Her performance helped the Skyhawks secure a top overall finish in the event.

She earned AAC Runner of the Week honors earlier this season after finishing first at the West Georgia Invitational where she completed the 5K race in 19:12.

The young runner also has a pair of No. 2 overall finishes this season, (Buffaloe Stampede - 18:40) and (Darton Invitational - 20:16).

Guadiana and the Point women's cross country team return to the trail Friday, Oct. 10 where they will face some of the nation's top XC teams at the Florida State University Invitational in Tallahassee, Fla.
