LANETT, Ala. -- The Skyhawks finished as the top overall team in the third annual Point Invitational, including five runners with a Top-15 placing.


Becky Guadiana (FR/Oak View, Calif.) placed No. 1 overall in the event with a time of 18:41, which was a total of 12 seconds faster than second place. This is her second overall win of the season for her young collegiate career.


Guadiana's first No. 1 finish this season at the West Georgia Invitational with a time of 19:12 helped her earn Appalachian Athletic Conference Runner of the Week honors.


Point also had four additional runners finish in the Top-15: Alycea Heredia (FR/Orcutt, Calif.) (No. 6, 19:31.16), Samantha Greenlee (JR/Port Richey, Fla.) (No. 7, 19:35.48), Haley Johnson (FR/Douglasville, Ga.) (No. 10, 19:54.52) and Jacqueline Escobedo (SR/Anaheim, Calif.) (No. 15, 20:11.35).
